Fun Group Christmas Gift Exchange Game

It's time to play the Christmas Sock Exchange Game!!

There are several ways to play...

One of the people hosting the Christmas gathering can purchase a few packs of footie socks - or - everyone can bring a new pair of footie socks.

Preparation:  Gather all of the pairs of socks, unpair them and wrap all of the socks individually.

Place them in a Christmas basket.

Now it's time for the fun to begin!

Ladies gather around and play your version of the "Gift Exchange" game!

Everyone should leave with at least one pair of mis-matched footie socks... IT's fun!

Everything Rides on Hope Now - by Addison Road

Here is a most excellent song - so encouraging!!

Everything Rides on Hope Now - by Addison Road

If everything comes down to love
Then just what am I afraid of
When I call out Your name
Something inside awakes in my soul
How quickly I forget I'm Yours

(PRE-CHORUS)
I'm not my own
I've been carried by You
All my life

(CHORUS)
Everything rides on hope now
Everything rides on faith somehow
When the world has broken me down
Your love sets me free

When my life is like a storm
Rising waters all I want is the shore
You say I'll be ok and
Make it through the rain
You are my shelter from the storm

(CHORUS)
Everything rides on hope now
Everything rides on faith somehow
When the world has broken me down
Your love sets me free

I am not my own
I've been carried by you all my life

(CHORUS)
Everything rides on hope now
Everything rides on faith somehow
When the world has broken me down
Your love sets me free
(Repeat 2x)

(CHORUS 2)
You've become my hearts desire
I will sing Your praises higher
Cause Your love sets me free
Your love sets me free
Your love sets me free

The Worship Leader

"Raise your hands, all you nations
Shout to God all creation
How awesome is the Lord most high..."

He sings outloud as he plays skillfully on his guitar, his heart worships as he prepares the worship for our church family tomorrow.

"...Sing praise...  Sing praise... Forever God is faithful, forever God You're strong..."  He sings on as he continues onto the next song, his voice strong and beautiful in melody as his heart sings out.

Thank You Lord for this beautiful man, for this man who is Your child Lord God, one of Your servants, my husband, and because we are washed in the blood of the Lamb, we are also brother and sister in Christ.  Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, our Redeemer.  He brings us  up from the pit and rescues us to beautiful places.

I am thankful for my husband, who is my brother in Christ, my best friend and my love...
How I cherish him.

This humble man works so hard.  He works not only in life but he also works to make his relationship with God a priority.  God is at work in this man.

In my flesh I am full of contradictions and imperfections.  I lift myself to God, and I ask God, please forgive me Lord.  I need You Lord.  In response, the One True God offers to all mankind forgiveness and cleansing.  We are the clay and He is the Potter. We give ourselves to God and He works within us to make a beautiful vessel for Him.

Praise the Lord.

May we offer ourselves in our marriages, bonded together in Jesus Christ, vessels of soft clay that God can work with as we draw near to God and to one another.
